Sara Duterte’s Manila Rally Sparks Chaos: VP Attacks Critics in Fiery ‘Revenge Tour

Sara Duterte Storms Into Tondo: “I’ll Fight You in the Gutter!”
The roar of the crowd drowned out Manila’s humid night air as Vice President Sara Duterte took the stage in Tondo. Flames from handheld torches flickered across faces tense with anger. This wasn’t a campaign rally—it was a political war cry.

“Your congressman’s neck is so fat, it’s choking his voice!” Duterte shouted, mocking Manila Rep. Rolando Valeriano. The crowd erupted. Valeriano, who led a House probe into her alleged misuse of ₱125 million in confidential funds, wasn’t there. But his district was—and Duterte came to conquer it.

For two nights, Duterte barnstormed Manila with ex-mayor Isko Moreno, whose own comeback bid became a backdrop for her vengeance. She didn’t endorse Moreno. Instead, she threw her weight behind his ally, Carlo Lopez, while savaging critics like Valeriano and Quiapo Rep. Joel Chua.

“I’m Sara Duterte. I’ll fight you in the gutter!” she snarled at Friday’s Quiapo rally, clutching an apple meant for Chua’s rival. When a child asked for the fruit, she coldly replied, “This is to shove down Chua’s throat until he dies.”

The VP’s rage isn’t random. Valeriano and Chua both backed investigations into her spending—and now, she’s targeting their districts. “She’s not just campaigning. She’s settling scores,” said political analyst Ramon Casiple.

But Duterte insists she’s fighting for truth. “Don’t vote for liars,” she urged crowds, praising Sen. Imee Marcos as a “problem-solver” while subtly distancing herself from Imee’s brother, President Bongbong Marcos.

The stakes? Sky-high. Duterte’s “Dutert10” Senate slate needs Manila’s votes. But with Moreno leading polls, her presence baffles experts. “She’s using his rallies to amplify her own agenda,” said Casiple. “This isn’t teamwork. It’s a takeover.”

As Duterte left the stage, the chants lingered: “Sara! Sara! Sara!” Manila’s political battlefield just got bloodier—and no one’s backing down.
